EXPERIMENTAL FOOD COMBINATIONS

“Banana and Ham Hollandaise”, “Jell-O Lime Cottage Cheese Salad”.

 These are just a few of the combinations that generated – like a nasty disease.

Before 1967 in America, interracial marriage was illegal. In 1974, racial segregation was acceptable. You can’t help but wonder why the masses were so conservative about race and politics, yet so radical when it came to cuisine. In spite of that, here’s just some of the bizarre concoctions that went down in the 60s and 70s.  

1. JELLIED TOMATO REFRESHER 

Make sure not to choke on the lumps.

Refreshing limes, with a hint of wholesome cheese.

Nothing like a good slather of offal crafted to look like a tropical fruit.
